British journalist Johann Hari has written for many of the world’s leading newspapers and magazines.  For his book Chasing The Scream, he spent three years researching the war on drugs and questioning the ways in which we treat addiction.  His research findings are fascinating and his talk explores ways that we as a society could be doing a better job.  I have another blog post about the book Beyond Addiction.  Both Johann’s talk and the book Beyond Addiction share the philosophy that relationship and connection can be motivators for change.  I think you will gain valuable insight from watching this engaging talk by Johann.
